Materials & Provenance

Every SAAG object begins as ethically sourced, seasoned Central Indian Sagwan teak (Tectona grandis) — celebrated for its dense natural oils, water resistance, and rich golden honey patina that deepens with age.

  • Zero Veneer, Zero MDF: Sculpted exclusively from dense, solid timber stock.
  • Food & Skin Safe: Finished with unbleached organic beeswax and edible-grade linseed oil — free from synthetic polyurethanes, formaldehyde, and toxic varnishes.
  • Magnetic Craft: Magnetic components (where applicable) utilize embedded high-grade rare-earth neodymium magnets for lifetime tactile snap.
Care & Conditioning
Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking, harsh chemicals and prolonged direct sunlight. An occasional wood-safe polish keeps the finish rich.
